The Chief of Naval Staff (KASAL) Admiral Yudo Margono, SE, MM, directly observes the implementation of the Covid 19 Vaccination attack for students and students of the Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School which was carried out at the University Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum (Unipdu) Jombang, East Java. Tuesday (12/10/2021). Vaccination targets 1000 students and 1000 general public.
KASAL’s arrival was welcomed by the head of the Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School foundation, KH Zaimudin Wijaya As’ad, along with his family and Unipdu Chancellor, Prof. KH Ahmad Zahro, MA. On the occasion, Kasal was accompanied by the Commander of the Marine Corps (Dankormar) Major General TNI (Mar) Suhartono, Dankodiklatal Vice Admiral TNI Nurhidayat, Main Officer of Headquarters, Pangkotama Surabaya Region. Jombang Regent Mundjidah Wahab and Dandim 0814 Jombang were also present, as well as Jombang Deputy Chief of Police.
In addition to reviewing the covid-19 vaccination, KASAL also visited the grave of the founder of the Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School as well as held a prayer together to coincide with the commemoration of the death of Nyai Azzah As’ad Umar’s mother.
TNI Admiral Yudo Margono said that vaccination for students was very important. The reason is, at this time in boarding schools have started face-to-face learning (PTM). “That’s why vaccination is very important. Because the Islamic boarding school has started PTM. This is at the same time to accelerate the creation of group immunity,” said Yudo Margono.
In this attack, it is targeted that as many as 2,000 students and students as well as the general public can get the Sinovac vaccination, both the first and second doses starting from the age of 12 by deploying 30 Indonesian Navy Health Workers (Nakes) in collaboration with 10 Health Workers from Unipdu Medika Hospital. and Marines from the V Surabaya Base Defense Marine Battalion (Yonmarhanlan).
Kasal added that his party deliberately combed educational institutions and Islamic boarding schools for vaccinations this time. The reason is that the Covid-19 vaccination for residents on the outer islands and coasts has been completely carried out by the Indonesian Navy. “We have completed the vaccination in the outer islands.
