IMESINDONESIA, JOMBANG – Covid-19 pandemic, Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Jombang (Unipdu Jombang) Jombang is still the university of choice and favorite in the city of students.
Abdullah Rikza (35) Director of UPT PMB (New Student Admission) admitted that in the period of new student admissions for the 2021-2022 academic year, there was a significant increase.
“Yesterday’s academic year there were only 420 new students (maba), now it has reached 550 and we are still opening registration until stage 3 in September,” he said when met after opening a virtual new student orientation, Monday (30/8/2021).
The increasing number of new students in this academic year does not make Unipdu proud. However, his party will continue to be determined to improve the quality of both academics and existing infrastructure at Unipdu.
“We will always improve ourselves, and give the best for the people of Jombang,” he explained.

When asked about lectures for the 2021-2022 academic year, his party has not confirmed whether classes will be held online or offline considering the situation is still in a pandemic. Covid-19.
“We are waiting for directions from the government while waiting for the situation to improve again,” he said.
As is known, Unipdu Jombang in 2021 had a proud achievement, namely the Insan Full of Love Campus was ranked as the fourth best national campus within the Webometrics version of the Nahdlatul Ulama Higher Education Institution (LPTNU). (*)
